When we decided that we wanted to throw a little Christmas party at the shop for some of our dearest friends and family we chatted to Glynn and asked him if he’d be able to cater the event for us. From the first conversation we had every confidence that Glynn would be able to deliver a fantastic spread of food which would also satisfy all dietary requirements to ensure that all of our attendees would be sufficiently well fed. Glynn was very thorough in asking us which styles of cuisine and dishes we would like to be included and was super enthusiastic with our suggestions and was keen to incorporate them into the evening’s dishes and what was delivered on the night exceeded our expectations considerably. We were blown away by the effort and execution and it is an evening that we look back on and talk about with the fondest of memories. Glynn and the team were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, not only is the food incredible but Glynn genuinely wanted to get to know us and our story to build a menu/wedding breakfast that wasn’t just a meal, each course or canapé had a purpose. My wife and I can not express how truly wonderful the service Glynn provided on our special day was. Glynn not only provided the most spectacular food but the service was impeccable! Our dog Buddy was especially grateful for how attentive Glynn and his wait staff were when it came to giving them the ‘puppy dog eyes’ at the kitchen door asking for food. There are so many things we can highlight about Glynn and his team. However, we need to be able to make this a quick read instead of a book! At one point there was red wine spilt on the wedding dress and Glynn just dropped everything to assist in the “clean up” with a glass of white wine. Setting up the day before was a pleasure, Packing away the following day was also a pleasure with Glynn on hand to help with pretty much everything! Therefore, Wellington Catering Co come highly recommended from start to finish with planning and organising from Mr & Mrs Ashcroft. Communication throughout was amazing we’re so grateful to have come across such a genuine person that ensured our day was everything it should be. Thank you so so much for just being you!
